about
After experiencing so much grief over the span of my short life, I found that the pandemic forced me to zoom out of my personal experience and view loss and sadness through a more collective and universal perspective. While writing this song, I imagined life being told only through dance and movement. If everyone had a dance to tell their life story, each performance would be extremely emotional and chaotic yet still beautiful.
lyrics
Walking back, eyes on the prize
Move those hips, side to side
Take each others hands, twist them into one
Aren’t we all the same? ain't this just for fun?
I know you’d like to show them how its all done
aint it all just one big contest?
And haven’t you already won?
Are you okay? Are you alright? I thought you had it all worked out last time
Ha Ha Ha it’s better to laugh when you fall
I find it funny
Don’t you at all?
I know you’d like to show them how its all done
Aint it all just one big contest?
And haven’t you already won?
Are you okay? Are you alright? I thought you had it all worked out last time
HA HA HA
break my fall
Sid to side
Bright Light
Are you okay? Are you alright? I thought you had it all worked out last time
